DOLCE & GABBANA FALL 2017 MENSWEAR

NICK CARVELL

Tinie Tempah. Oliver Cheshire. Jack Guinness. Marcus Butler. Jim Chapman. Just a few of the men representing for Britain in Dolce & Gabbana’s Millennial-friendly show, which used some of the world’s biggest Instagram stars, It-boys and influencers to showcase its latest collection – rather appropriately titled “The New Princes”. However, beyond the big names, the clothes on the catwalk were notable in their own right. Beside the label’s classically handsome slim, cropped tuxedos, Dolce & Gabbana used rich, suitably royal embellishment on streetwear: denim jackets popping with gold badges, patchwork padded parks, and claret and dark green crew neck knitwear emblazoned with lion motifs.
